This study addresses the ethical concerns surrounding ChatGPT, a technology based on the GPT language model. We utilize the frameworks of Social Construction of Technology (STS) and Inclusive Engineering (IE) to investigate the technology’s ethical implications, particularly in terms of privacy, transparency, and plagiarism in education. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the conversation on AI ethics by exploring how ChatGPT can be developed and utilized in a more responsible and inclusive manner, while considering the diverse needs of all parties involved.
